ISO 146444-1 specifies guidelines for particulate control in the design, measurement, and construction of cleanrooms or other controlled environments. Practices identified to maintain control include minimum sampling volumes (0.07 CF) and minimum sampling times (1 minute), as well as the definition of acceptable statistically valid number of counts. Hach Ultra air particle counters and particle counting software are designed with ISO 14644-1 support in mind.
